Linda J. Spiller, Esq.
Attorney Spiller was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in October 2001 after graduating
from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2001. She was also admitted to practice in federal
court at the United States District Court, District of New Hampshire in October 2001.

Attorney Spiller first became involved in Social Security Disability (SSDI) and
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims while a student at Franklin Pierce Law Center
Civil Practice Clinic in 1998. She has been successfully representing claimants before the
Social Security Administration since opening her own practice in 2002.

Attorney Spiller is uniquely qualified to understand the issues and difficulties that
individuals who are disabled face as she has faced and overcome multiple disabilities since
birth. Her own understanding of the daily challenges faced by individuals with disabilities
help her advocate for her clients with a better understanding.

Many of her family law clients also have disabilities as well and frequently receive Social
Security Disability or SSI. Attorney Spiller's experience before the Social Security
Administration is an asset in handling such family law matters. Attorney Spiller is the
author of a law journal article published in the March 2001 issue of the New Hampshire
Bar Journal on the Americans with Disabilities Act.

She has successfully represented clients in several complex federal civil litigation cases
involving employment discrimination claims including the Americans with Disabilities Act
and the Rehabilitation Act.

Before opening her own practice, Attorney Spiller worked for West Publishing, one of the
two largest legal publishers in the United States, editing publications and writing case
summaries for twelve legal publications and books including the Social Security Reporting
Service.

Attorney Spiller is a past Vice Chairperson of the Mental & Physical Disabilities Law
Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association.

While a student at Franklin Pierce Law Center, Attorney Spiller had the opportunity to
participate as a student attorney in a family law clinic managed by a Guardian Ad Litem.
Because of her exposure to the pressing need for family law practitioners, she has chosen
to represent clients in family matters once she opened her own law practice.

She has successfully represented clients in complex divorces, post divorce matters,
guardianships, parenting responsibility, child support cases, and name change issues.
Many of her cases have involved complex property division issues including qualified
domestic relations orders for state and federal retirement accounts, military pensions,
401(k), 401(b) and IRA accounts.

Before attending law school, Attorney Spiller enjoyed a successful career in the publishing
field including five years as the senior technical writing manager for a software company.
Attorney Spiller attended the Franklin Pierce Law Center's Intellectual Property Summer
Institute in 1999 and 2000. Her high tech background and business experience has helped
her successfully represent family law clients with high tech businesses.

Attorney Spiller is a member of the Family Law Section of the New Hampshire Bar
Association.
